Bread & Honey Breakfast Potatoes

My first blog ever...

…Well, this is going to be harder than I thought, mostly because I don’t like blogs, as in, I don’t like it when I google a recipe and Google takes me to some ladies blog that seems like just what I am looking for, and before I can get to the recipe I have to go through pages of backstory, and then maybe, if we are lucky she gets to the recipe.

So in the spirit of not being a hypocrite, I'm going to keep it brief, and get straight to the point.


At The Bead and honey Café we make the best breakfast potatoes ever! Perfectly crisp and seasoned to perfection. Everyone loves them.

Here is our potato spice recipe:

3 T kosher salt
1 T pepper
1 T + 1 t paprika
1 t smoked paprika

1 T garlic powder

Mix all together and put in an old salt shaker, and sprinkle over boiled potatoes.

I am going to spare you the boring details about boiling the russets whole, waiting for them to cool, quartering them… bla bla bla.

Or,  just come on into my restaurant for our  Saturday and Sunday Brunch and I’ll make them for you, which takes a lot less work. They come on the side with most of our brunch entrees, and are the perfectly compliment.
